What We Do
Supporting single mothers in NYC with vocational and job-training grants to build lasting financial stability.
Mission
Moms for Moms supports single mothers in New York City by providing grants for continuing education and job training, along with targeted support to help mothers build confidence, develop skills, and move toward lasting financial stability.

Vision
We envision a city where every single mother has the support and clear pathways to thrive, from the earliest days of parenthood to long-term independence and success.
Our Approach
We listen. We partner. We walk alongside mothers as they define their own goals. We believe in:

When we invest in mothers, we invest in families, neighborhoods, and the future of our city.
Our Next Chapter: Education & Career Support
We listened closely to the mothers we serve. Again and again, we heard:
“{We need} more opportunities for those with less experience “

“Help moms on looking forward to achieve their goals and education”

“ I wish there were more flexible job-training programs designed specifically for single moms with financial assistance for certifications, and step-by-step guidance”
Today, Moms for Moms is focused on providing education and career training opportunities that help single mothers:

-
Grow their skills
-
Access sustainable employment
-
Gain confidence and independence
-
Create long-term financial security for their families
A mother’s stability changes everything for her and for her children.

Founder's Story
In 2014, while pregnant with her second child, Danielle Krupa founded Moms for Moms. As the daughter of a single mother who struggled to provide basic necessities, Danielle knew firsthand how difficult motherhood can be without support. She created Moms for Moms to help single mothers, mothers like her own, access the critical newborn and postpartum essentials they need during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.
Over the past decade, Moms for Moms has supported thousands of mothers across New York City and delivered more than 1.7 million essential items. Today, the organization is building on that impact through a new mission focused on education, job training, and long-term economic stability for single mothers and their families.
